I was just leaving your room after putting you in bed for nap. You tried to negotiate some books and "rest time" instead of nap but it didn't work out. Then, as I was leaving your room, you said, "Mama, if you hear me crying you can take me to your bed to watch a show. That would be okay if you hear me crying."
I have ear plugs in now. ;)
